I'd say that ESL learners usually have troubles with perceiving the differences between an English sound and a corresponding sound in their native language. It takes a lot of practice so they would be able to pronounce a word in isolation correctly, and even more practice to link the words in such a way that the sentence has a proper stress patter.

I'm a deep thinker and very talented when it comes to communication because I can quickly adapt to how the other person is used to being told something. Meaning I know how to word my what I'm saying so that its taken the right way. Excluding all miscommunication. Earlier today I wanted to draw how my thought works so other people can visually understand. After it was complete I googled thought patterns and found the above image showing the cultures and how the different types of thinking made different patterns. The drawing of my thought pattern I made before stumbling on this website literally is the shape of all the thought patterns put together. I'm 17, and I just discovered on my own things that Kaplan, R. B. wrote about 58 years ago. But I have no idea what to do with this knowledge.

Cross-cultural hiring is becoming common these days and companies have started to hire employees from all over the world. I have seen people getting very much confused about how to prepare for an interview in a culture different than their own. Yes, culture do has a significant impact on the interviewing style and consequently the whole recruitment process. For getting useful information of getting trained for a cross-cultural interview, refer to this useful article https://psychometrictestguru.com/blog/understanding-cross-cultural-differences-in-interview-process/

That is fantastic ingisht and you are so correct, it is not just about English. Peer/family pressure is a major block in one's ability in acquiring a language and how well one speaks it. There are many, many factors, but that is a big one.Your opinion on ESL teacher/tutor awareness is right on. Having that information will signal to the teacher/tutor how to approach the student and assist in diminishing his/her insecurities while helping ease the tensions surrounding peer/family pressure. Understanding makes things easier for both the teacher and the student.Aliawww.askalia.squarespace.com
