Inter-culture communication seminars
Those who manage groups of people coming from diverse cultures may, knowingly or unknowingly, suffer conflicts and misunderstandings rooted in ineffective communication. Such problems often arise from language barriers. However, many issues stemming from the inability to communicate effectively across cultures can not be explained by language barriers alone; very little of a message is actually conveyed through vocabulary and grammar. Pragmatics, or the way people say what they do, is deeply rooted in cultural identity and cannot be disregarded in an effective culture and language training program.
